His inaccuracy was as much his downfall here as anything else. 

He had a meteoric run when Foles was injured, but he couldn't sustain it, and has yet to consistently show such ability ever since. 

Keeping him around would've been a headache with a rookie QB in front of him that has miles more inherent athletic gifts and a portion of the fanbase too in love with a mustachioed flash-in-the-pan. 

He was fun to root for, had oodles of "it factor," but he's gone and for good reason. 

I'd love to see him have another run of good play like 2019, but it's unlikely.

I think if Pederson were here he wouldn't have made up a fake QB competition and would have clearly defined his role which would have made this issue significantly less
