I think he'll get a shot to start somewhere else at some point, and he deserves one.

I think that being a coaches' kid and kinda of being a journeyman/victim of instability throughout college gave him plenty of smarts not to be overwhelmed by the newness of playing in the NFL. But, as others said, once the film was out there, teams kinda figured him out.

If he starts, he'll probably be a bandaid until the team can draft a franchise guy. He'll stick around for ages though as a backup, he's bright enough to pick up new systems in a hurry and be good enough not to cost games should he be called into service. Guys like Charlie Whitehurst and Chase Daniel made a small fortune filling that role .
