My wife just got a ford fusion a week ago with all the bells and whistles. Black leather int and better engine and we left out the door under 27k. We've always been truck people. I will always need a truck, but the car is kinda new to us both. So far her and I both love it. Good gas Milage, plenty of room. I'm not a giant but 6'0" I have plenty leg and head room. It isn't a race car but it did put me back in my seat when we test drove it. Haven't e read the whole thread so not sure if this is what ur looking for or notShe drove a truck ever since high school and that was almost 15 years ago for her. She doesn't miss her truck one bit.
