I think you're confusing 2022 with earlier seasons.  The stats I provided are for 2020 and 2021 when the team was a combined 16-17. Herbert did not hold that team back which is the main point I wanted to make. He played well even when the team didn't. But maybe I should have said Herbert played for a bad team. It doesn't really change the point.

This is what we should expect from Lawrence this year. The team should no longer be terrible and the coach is a pro. If the receivers play as well as they did Week 18 last year this should be doable, right?

So if 16-17 is bad for 2 seasons, what about a team who won 4 games in 2 seasons? Lol

I don’t think you can categorize a team that 1 an OT botch away from the playoffs a “bad team”.

It’s also tough compare Trevor straight up to Herbert the last 2 years because the offensive talent around him is so much better. I wish Trevor had Williams, Allen and Eckler.
