Burr Ridge is one of the wealthiest towns in Illinois so I'd have to think they are doing the immigrants a favor. That's pretty much like Jacksonville shipping immigrants off to the Hilton Garden Inn in Ponte Vedra Beach and Fox reporting Jacksonville is hypocritical.
Burr Ridge had an annual per capita income of $81,000 and an average home value of $679,000 based on a 2020 Census report. I'm sure that home value is up toward $1m given the 20%+ home value increases over the past 2 years. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burr_Ridge,_Illinois |
