I've never seen an IG called on a QB who's in the process of being sacked like that. The arm went forward and he couldn't generate the velocity because of the hit.

Both of them were questionable calls. We almost never see it called at all because normally if there's a guy in the general direction the QB seems to be facing they get the benefit of the doubt. Pretty much only normally happens when a guy throws a ball away in a very obvious way, not when they get hit while their arm is in motion.

Also, there were multiple occurrences of roughiing against Trevor that should have been called but weren't.

Overall the refs seemed to not like the idea of protecting Trevor in any way.
