I think Shad got a lot of heat because he made some questionable hiring decisions (where personal preference was put ahead of what's best for the team), the Meyer fiasco was a tipping point

Winning will forgive everything, and the reality is that Shad is also still learning how to be an NFL owner. He ever gets a taste of consistent winning, he'll pour a lot more resources into the team and into the city, and we all benefit. But it's a balancing act too, if we become too successful and marketable (one can dream), he may want to scratch that London itch.
