Jacksonville doesn't have shutter requirements, beach may though. I may look into that but not high on the list as Jax because of location hardly ever gets hit hard.

No shutter requirements here in the beaches communities.

In Germany they use shutters as climate control measures since most houses and such do not have AC. I thought it was weird at first but it makes sense. Close the ones on south facing windows and it keeps the sun out.
