If we beat Philly in convincing fashion, what will expectations be?

If we lose to the Eagles, I am not going to be depressed about it, because in the big picture, this team is obviously going to get a lot better, surprisingly fast.

This is the right attitude to take into this game. We've just begun a rebuilding process. Being a giant slayer is the fantasy we all want, but reality states this is likely a game we lose. As long as we lose in strong competitive fashion, I'll be happy. A win would make me even happier, but it's all about perspective.

For those comparing this season to 2017, that whole season had a fluky feel to it. How many of us were waiting for the bottom to fall out at any minute? And it would have if not for Calais Campbell carrying the locker room on his shoulders. In reality, we were one injury away from falling on our face. This season feels different. It has solid footing. Barring an injury to Lawrence, every other phase of the game seems as if it is playing to a plan and can absorb a loss. An injury may set it back a little, but it will keep producing solid results with adjustments.
