It would be one thing if Lawrence had addressed the media, say, like Josh Rosen did during the combine and draft process. Or, had he pulled some trade nonsense like Eli Manning did when the Chargers selected him. If he was over the top with his attitude like Cam Newton or a little bit too lippy and mouthy for his own good like Baker Mayfield?

I would understand the hate. He's very humble though. He didn't tout himself as some generational talent neither. That's up to the media and analysts to make that determination. So far this year though he's playing pretty damn good football while learning a new system and gelling with new players.

Some people are just negative at heart and have to have something to complain about...I live in New England...Maine... but I remember back when bledsoe got hurt and Brady came in.... everyone hated Brady saying he sucked... someone even wrote in the job box Brady sucks lol.... anyways obviously they were wrong... I feel the same way about Trevor...not that I think he sucks but that people are wrong and will look back and see they were foolish....I for one believe that he will be a franchise quarterback and one day take us to the super bowl....
