You also need to keep in mind that the 19 running plays included two runs by Lawrence and one by Kirk.  Our running backs only ran 16 times (8 for JRob and 8 for ETN) or about 38% of the time.  

We also gave up on James Robinson very early.  He opened the game with a decent 5 yard run before Pederson  decided to throw the ball on 2nd and 5 and 3rd and 5 which resulted in incompletions and the punt.  People were already questioning why he skipped over a couple of good run opportunities in favor of the pass in heavy rain.  

On our second possession, it was wonderful.  Pederson did what he should do.  We focus on JRob and mix in the pass.  We ran JRob 5 times and mixed in the pass 3 times.  The result?  We march 80 yards down the field and score a touchdown!  We found a formula that worked, so what do we do?  We completely abandon it!!!  This was only our second possession of the game and still in the first quarter.  We ran JRob only TWO TIMES for the entire rest of the game and one of them was a meaningless run to kill the final 26 seconds of the first half.  I was wondering if he was injured, but we did use him once in the third quarter, again I emphasize the word ONCE.  Why?  Why?  Why?  Is it because he fumbled once?  If so, we are lowering ourselves to the stupidity of the Urban Meyer era.
