What worries me the most is the majority of the time he’s played, he’s only really looked consistent when he’s asked to get the ball out quickly to a designated receiver within 10 yards of scrimmage. Like in the two wins this year.
Anytime he has to make a decision or throw the ball medium to long he more often then not makes the wrong decision and/or overthrows the ball. That doesn’t fell like something that is correctable. They’re trying to implement this dink and dunk system for him, as it’s obvious they either don’t trust him, or they don’t feel like he can do anything else. He should be playing much much better than this. Also doesn’t help that they keep abandoning the run for no reason, and they get too cute with the playcalling, especially in the red zone |
