Meh. I have concerns, but I also see the flashes.
Last year set us back with Trevor. Everyone one expecting him to take a "second year leap" is going to be disappointed. He's started this year at the same point of his development as when he was drafted. If anything, you could say he came in this offseason WORSE than he was coming in as a rookie. Is he the "generational QB" like Manning? No. Is he a bust? No. These ups and downs are going to happen. Especially at this point of the year. The drops don't help. I don't think people realize how much damage Urban did to Trevor. He regressed quite a bit in 21. So not only does Pederson have to UNDO that, but then develop him from there. It is what it is. He's still the best QB we've had since Brunell and he'll be fine. |
