They do need to run it more - since they are still averaging 4.2 YPC despite getting stuffed that often. 

I mean, it's not rocket science to see when certain run concepts are working for us really well. Yet we don't seem to take advantage of the success by staying with it.

Etieene is averaging 4.9 ypc.  I have always thought he is elite but if we are last in getting stuffed against the run it shows you how good he really is at averaging 5 ypc., not to mention J Rob at 4.2.  Run the ball

They're still 6th in total rushing yardage in the AFC and 16th overall in the NFL. The running game is something we would see more of if they could just get out to a faster, earlier start offensively when Pederson is calling the plays. Again, it's Pederson's philosophy and approach. 

Which is true. Go back to the home opener where they shut out their opponent. Robinson ended up with 23 carries and Etienne ended up with 9. Go to the next game in L.A. Robinson ended up with 17 carries and Etienne ended up with 13. 

I think the other issue though is the nature in which they're running the football. I think we can all agree that it was frustrating to see Robinson on 4th and 1 running out of the shotgun formation. This is where I feel Pederson can improve his coaching a bit. 

I also think he needs to reconsider dialing back Lawrence's pass attempts once they start creeping inside the redzone. Or, at the minimum, get away from the shotgun formation and get them into formations that he was more comfortable doing at Clemson with split backfields and staggered formations. 

It's frustrating at times. I keep calling for it but I really want to see more screens overall in this offense. Don't care if it's geared towards the TE or RB position but it needs to just happen more frequently. You see this ALL the [BLEEP] time too with Kansas City and Buffalo. Once they start getting around the 20 yard mark and they're threatening to score they start going to the TE and RB.

It's rare you see an empty backfield from the 20 with Allen and Mahomes having no safety valve to either split out wide in motion or stay with them behind the LOS to offer a chip block or block/release. Those shovel passes to Kelce and Knox are common in their offensive approach.

Just not understanding why Pederson seems to stay away from it here Vs. what he did in Philadelphia with Ertz and Goedert. I get it. Arnold, Engram and Manhertz may not be THAT GOOD. But, [BLEEP], you're paying Engram $10M this year to show you that he could at least be that effective, athletic receiving threat that he was billed as coming out of Ole' Miss. Arnold and Manhertz are also more than capable.

Goes back to the ground game too. Why run the damn thing out of the shotgun when you can bring a pair of TE's into the mix and potentially sell a run and catch Arnold, Engram or Manhertz WIDE OPEN on a quick hitch inside or a flat route? Should be more routine in this offense yet it's not.
