I think their YPC is a bit skewed. They averaged under 3 in their win against the Colts. Just over 4 in the win against the Chargers (awful run defense) and that's with the 50 yard TD on 4th and 1. I don't think this team is consistently good at running the ball and yet everyone wants them to run the ball more. If you're getting stuffed on 31% of your runs, you likely need to establish the pass so it loosens up the defense more which is exactly what Pederson does.

I think the average for the Colt game is skewed because that last quarter we ran it close to 15 times to just run the clock down when the defense had the box stacked playing the run, they knew we were running out the clock.  It's no secret what Doug wants to do and teams know this which is why I think it's been a little difficult as of late.  He could switch it up a little and try to let the run set up the pass and see how it plays out. With that said I think the game plan could very each game depending on whom we play.  Last week we played the 31st ranked run D and the team with probably the worst DT/LB group in the league, we should of tried to run it down their throat and we were gashing them with Etienne then he decided to quit giving to him amd try to put it all on Trevor again.
