Most play designs have a lot of variables factored in. It typically goes, deep route, bailout route, underneath route, check down route, etc. 

He missed the easy check down opportunities more than a few times in that loss. His pocket awareness has improved but he just needs to tighten up on his decision making in the red zone and he needs to be more opportunistic when the defense is giving him free real estate to pick up with his legs. 

Mostly good in a game where they only managed six points and he turned the ball over in what was obviously a soul crushing shift of momentum for the rest of the game is hilarious though. I like the kid. I want him to be successful. However, some of his zealots are a little over the top with the excuses for him. This is how spoiled little brats are created, not saying he is, it's just that, "He can do no wrong, ever, never" that pisses me off with some of the fans. 

He'll improve. He'll bounce back. Because that's what competitors do. But, for the love of God, stop sugarcoating a turd's worth of a performance. He had 47 opportunities to make plays in this game. He completed 25 of those said opportunities and none of them resulted in any TD's. 53% completion percentage. 2 INT's in total. The first one being a cardinal sin in this sport. Enough.

Again, not crucifying the kid neither. He was the man back in week two and week three. In week one in the opener he missed an easy TD pass to Etienne in the first quarter, however, Etienne returned the favor by dropping one that was a far easier pitch and catch play that should be routine at any level in this sport. 

I get it. [BLEEP] happens. Again, Lawrence had rough accuracy in that loss on Sunday and this is just something I have grown to being used to seeing out of him. It was rough accuracy early and this team stalled out offensively early like they have virtually done I think in every game this year. I don't put ALL of that on him. 

He'll get there. I am trusting the process. I just have a hard time stomaching every little excuse some of the fans concoct up every time he's clearly off or has turned the football over in close contests or missed the mark on multiple drives.
