Trevor Lawrence Discussion (merged)
|
Theres a video on youtube of all of Lawrence plays against Houston.
Everyone points to the INT as the worst play and I disagree, it was a terrible play but I can kind of see how he might have thought it would work. The play that baffles my brains was the 4th down in which Engram ran a double move and Lawrence threw it to him with 2 texans smothering him. The issue with this play was that both MJJ and Christian Kirk were WIDE open. MJJ was past the 1st down marker alone, Kirk was maybe a yard or two from the first (but had no one near him) Now when you combine both that int play and the 4th down I mentioned my question is, does he get tunnel vision under pressure? Because in both cases had he just surveyed the field properly, we have a different ball game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egHG9DzK0Zo |
