Everyone points to the INT as the worst play and I disagree, it was a terrible play but I can kind of see how he might have thought it would work. The play that baffles my brains was the 4th down in which Engram ran a double move and Lawrence threw it to him with 2 texans smothering him. The issue with this play was that both MJJ and Christian Kirk were WIDE open. MJJ was past the 1st down marker alone, Kirk was maybe a yard or two from the first (but had no one near him)

Now when you combine both that int play and the 4th down I mentioned my question is, does he get tunnel vision under pressure? Because in both cases had he just surveyed the field properly, we have a different ball game.

If he runs on that play or doesn't throw that INT at the minimum we're not even looking at that 4th down play to Engram that late in the game. That's why it was the worst play. The momentum immediately shifted after that. You could hear a pin drop in the stadium after that. 

Not sure about the tunnel vision under pressure. I think it's just your typical growing pains of a 2nd year NFL QB man. That's all it really boils down to. Somebody said it somewhere around here. So I wish I could give them the credit they're due but it was spot on.

For years we [BLEEP] about not having a QB that would throw it downfield or take shots and we used to bag on David Garrard to the point to where he was coined Captain Checkdown. Now, some of us, myself included, are [BLEEP] because he's NOT finding the check down and trying to actually make big plays. 

It's a hard balancing act. I think he'll find that balance as the year progresses and he grows with the current coaching staff and newly acquired positional players at WR/TE, etc.
