Stick a fork in the team- they’re done

The last two were gained by losing to two of the worst teams in the league. How close would we have been against Buffalo or Kansas City?

As I said, I'll keep a larger reserve of hope for more wins because we have better coaches. I think it's obvious now we have a deeper talent deficit than we anticipated. After our two wins, other teams game planned and we have no answer because we simply don't have the talent to respond. Trevor isn't developing as we hoped but given last year, he's allowed the benefit of the doubt.

Which brings me to my next complaint. Why is Pederson removing the run game in the 2nd quarter? He does it every single game. Why not keep the run game going to build a lead and then let Trevor explore his passing game? I get the impression Pederson is putting the screws to Lawrence in order to get him to step up his game. As he said, Trevor is allowed a time to get his feet under him, but not for much longer. Which is fine, but in the act of trying to get Trevor passing more, he's abandoning the one element of our offense that is performing well.

I get what you're saying but those two teams are the level everyone is trying to achieve. Looking at the standings so far, in the AFC the Bills are 5-1, KC 4-2, Jets 4-2 and then nearly everyone else is 3-3 or 3-2 or 2-4. It's an incredibly even league this year.

Even Brady and Rodgers are 3-3. The SB champ Rams are 3-3. Every team have their strengths and weaknesses this year.

Well, we'll get to find out how close well be to the Chiefs in 4 weeks when we play them in KC.

Also, this season has been the definition of "Any Given Sunday". Like 6 underdogs won today.
