There is a re-flash which changes the parameters so that annoying P0420 code won't pop up all the time. Camry is a hard car to beat too.

The Subaru forester IS a great car but the timing system is very complex I was just trying to point out to prikster that while Subaru is a great car it's not something you'll be able to service with YouTube and a DIY tool box


And that reflash for the p0420 is only guaranteed to resolve the false convertor codes by Toyota if you first replace both oxygen sensors and the convertor itself.
