Yes, but worse team?  No.  The year before had a worse team and worse record.  We beat the Dolphins who won 8 went on to win 8 straight, we beat the Bills who could of easily won the SB if it wasn't for their defense in the playoffs, and we beat a Colts team who we eliminated from the playoffs, also was up big on the Bengals who went on to the SB
