A win is better than a loss. No one, and once again, I emphasize NO ONE is saying otherwise.

If you are talking about standings and playoff position, then I also agree that a loss is a loss.  However, I try to watch the game as a scout would.  Looking exclusively at wins and loses is a simplistic approach.  A scout would absolutely look at how the team played.  Our two wins were decisive.  As for our losses, every single one has been extremely close:

Commanders - We were down 1 score with the ball with 1:46 left in the game.

Eagles - We were down 1 score with the ball with 1:54 left in the game.

Texans - We were down 1 score with the ball with 3:11 left in the game and 0:46 left in the game.

Colts - We had the lead with 23 seconds left in the game.

Giants - We were literally 1 yard away when time expired from tying the game and the extra point for the win.

It's not about being "happy" with a loss.  I'm not.  It's about assessing the team.  It's about asking the question "how difficult would it be to turn our loses into wins?"  In the cases above, not difficult at all.  One player or possibly even one play could have turned around almost all of those games from loses into victories.  When you regularly lose by 2, 3, 4, or 5 scores, that's not the case.  How the team plays is important in assessing a team.  My assessment is that this team is fairly close to be highly competitive.  

In summary, I'm disappointed with out record, but largely positive about our future.
