They had Zay Jones run a natural pick play yesterday on the long pass to Kirk along the sideline. Was nicely executed. While I'll agree he does need another receiver on the outside that has that ideal height and jumping ability. It's frustrating at times to see this coaching staff, in particular, DOUG, lay off the gas pedal when something is clearly working. He outsmarts himself a lot. Again, TE screen, one call yesterday to Arnold, big pick up. Do it more often. Etienne, again, he put the ball on the ground early in the first half but then he proceeds to come out like a bat out of hell in the 2nd half on the opening drive. Somehow finishes the game with less than 15 carries. In a one score game. The one drive that really, really, really, really [BLEEP] pissed me off yesterday was when the Giants had a turnover on downs after Lloyd was denied an INT due to a blow to Daniel Jones head. Doug needed to do something there creatively to get them going, they went three and out. Now, as much as people wanted to [BLEEP] about the pass that Lawrence missed with Kirk on the sideline on the 3rd and obvious passing situation? The first two play calls were boring [BLEEP], easy [BLEEP] runs to read as a defense with Etienne and they were snuffed out. The focus was on Etienne there. Why not let Lawrence do a boot leg or QB keeper there on one of those plays? Again, why not go back to that TE screen or a RB screen? Orrrrrrrrrrr, I don't know..... maybe give James [BLEEP] Robinson a carry or a chance? There's some concern here with the whole team. However, when the team is young, and they have mid tier free agents out there? Coaching has to do more as well in situational football to help these guys out. Just not seeing it enough. ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky.
