I don't think so. I think the play calling, in fairness, it's been effective enough to get these [BLEEP] into position to score and 9 times out of 10 somebody [BLEEP] up a good looking drive. Happened in week one on the road early against the Commies. Happened at home against the tinhorns. Happened a lot on the road in Philadelphia. Happened yesterday against the Giants. 

Doug is putting them into a position to score and they either turn it over inside the red zone or just can't execute by hitting the passes that are there when the play is called or by dropping what should be a routine lay up pass at this level by now. My only complaint with Doug at times is his aggressiveness with a struggling offense where he goes for it on 4th down. 

Really should just take the points if they are there for the taking. If your offense is struggling to get it done on downs one through three and you're within field goal range? Take the [BLEEP] points. That's all I am asking for. 

I will say, he does have a bad habit of drifting away from what's working and then stalling out the offense. It's almost as if he's over thinking it or out smarting himself and expecting his opponent to stop what was working earlier before they can even prove that they can [BLEEP] stop it to begin with. It's desperate for big, chunk plays. 

I think he shines more when he's calling the boot legs, the screens and WR reverse runs more than anything. Do some more of that. Start letting Lawrence do some of that running stuff that he did on the road back in week six. Just stick to that. I am honestly getting tired of the shotgun formation every week or the empty backfield stuff. 

Again, nit picky on my end. There's some situations where I want to strangle him and beat him with his clipboard but, for the most part? He really is calling fairly decent games and he's putting these guys within scoring position. They just clam up really bad and make mind numbing mistakes with the football inside the red zone. That needs to stop. Seven weeks of that [BLEEP] is enough already.
