The "top 1/3 of the roster" would equate to starters. I think Bryant, Gerhart, and Beadles would be starters. Not stars, but definitely starters.

I think you can make the argument he has upgraded the top 3rd to a limited degree.

Beadles is a definite upgrade to Rackley, and a better scheme fit to boot.

Bryant is an upgrade over Alualu.

Gerhart over MJD last year??? Maybe.

How many starters need to be upgraded until you can say the top 1/3 of the roster has been upgraded.

Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
