holding a team to 21 in the modern NFL is a win for a defense. That is reality. Only scoring 17 in the modern nfl is an embarrassment with how the rules are set up. It is the offense that loses us games, defense has been "good enough" to win, can't say the same for TL and the O.

Stop looking at the numbers and look at the actual game. You don’t let receivers get that wide open constantly in critical situations like this. Honestly, we might be better off running zone defense because we just don’t have the type of CBs to run man-to-man that much.

At the same time, Doug needs to sit down with Trevor and have a talk with him about trying to force plays. He did not have to throw that ball the way he did near the endzone. Doug has to emphasize that it’s OKAY to throw it away when nothing’s there. Yes, I expect Trevor to make mistakes because he’s young, but he needs to make sure he isn’t doing these kinds of things in year 3 and 4.
