Did you say it last year? How about the year before? I seriously doubt even the most die hard among us felt that way when Doug Marrone crashed or Urban was here. And yeah, just based on what we've seen this year it's actually different and if you don't see it that's because you choose not to because you're mainlining cynicism.

Well anything had to be better than Meyer after he was fired (and it has been), so probably. Before that, we all thought that because we drafted the generational QB, we were making progress. Year before that, I am sure we said that because we had a pretty awesome DE drafted and a new QB coming in (Foles).

We always think we are making progress, but it never manifests.
