This year has been different. The growth has been painful to watch. 

It's plateaued though. They might win a few more games. The most likely contest would be the Raiders and Lions. Those are potentially games that are going to determine who ends up having the first overall pick in next year's draft. Could make or break a lot of the fanbase's loyalists and diehards going towards the end of this year.

What? What's the [BLEEP] point of watching a team lose? What's the point of investing time, money and effort to getting to these games or watching these games if they're just going to continue to lose? 

You think these coaches, players and front office people get together every year and the goal is to be a [BLEEP] box football team? Holy [BLEEP]. You must be one of those participation trophy kids all grown up. My god. Get the [BLEEP] out of here with that nonsense. Please. 

So we went from the worst offense and defense in the League and losing every game by at least 14 points to losing our games by a few points in one single offseason. Maybe we have plateaued for this year, but we made a tremendous step forward before we did. I just don't know why you expected more, it's irrational to think that a team with 4 wins in 2 full seasons is suddenly gonna start winning every week. Hell, it was irrational to think they'd be in these games at all based on our history. The games are what they're supposed to be now, fun and meaningful. Does it suck to lose? Hell yes. Does it suck to know the game is over before the first play like all of last year? Much, much worse.

It's rough when it's the SAME mistake though, man. First INT against the tinhorns in the redzone? Alright... it happens.

But to do it again? C'mon now...

You get burned late on the road in Q4 against the clots after you take the lead and lose the game? Alright.. it happens.

But to see it again? C'mon now...

You see BOTH issues happen in the SAME game. Just, oof. Big OOF.

That's two more wins against teams they should beat. I expected competitive football and SIX wins. That's it. Just SIX.

They have maybe two games left where I can say they might have a chance now. Raiders and Lions. Everything else is tough sledding. Tacks twice down the stretch? Tinhorns on the road? Chiefs? Ravens?

It's tough. I think they'll be better next year. Matter of fact. I KNOW they'll be better next year. Again, growth is painful. But, ill be disappointed if they can't win four more games.

Those scenarios above cannot keep happening.
