Which is where I think Doug Pederson can turn this franchise into for at least a nice little four year stretch if they can get the right players around Lawrence to make his offense fire on all cylinders. This year has been different. The growth has been painful to watch. 

It's plateaued though. They might win a few more games. The most likely contest would be the Raiders and Lions. Those are potentially games that are going to determine who ends up having the first overall pick in next year's draft. Could make or break a lot of the fanbase's loyalists and diehards going towards the end of this year.

What? What's the [BLEEP] point of watching a team lose? What's the point of investing time, money and effort to getting to these games or watching these games if they're just going to continue to lose? 

You think these coaches, players and front office people get together every year and the goal is to be a [BLEEP] box football team? Holy [BLEEP]. You must be one of those participation trophy kids all grown up. My god. Get the [BLEEP] out of here with that nonsense. Please. 

We are not playing the games.

We are fans because of the experience of rooting for a team and the memories that come from that over years or even decades. Most franchises win only a few titles in their entire existence. Even fewer have runs of dominance. Of course you want you're team to be a winner, but the reason to be a die hard fan for extended period of time is rooting for a franchise through the ups and downs, no matter how long or insanely ridiculous they are. You have hope for improvement and are dejected when it doesn't come through. But you continue to root for the team because you have hope they can eventually, maybe turn it around. 

If your ONLY metric is championships, then it is waste of your time, money, and effort to root for any team but the favorite of the moment. 

Yet, a good portion of this board is completely resigned that this team/franchise will never become anything because of the owner, they are cursed, or just #becausejaguars. I completely understand how rooting for this franchise can make you lose hope. Trust me. Most of the teams I've ever rooted for have continually lost, blown amazing opportunities, or moved away. Then only one to actually win had their title tainted by an idiotic cheating scandal. 

However, I have as many great memories of rooting for and cheering on those for the years those teams did not win as I do for those that have win. I have one my best friends because of our ties to rooting to Jaguars games and going to every single home game for 5 years. 

So again I say if all you are doing is trying to invest your time and money in 100% bet of a winner, then yes you are wasting your time. If you have completely lost your hope, why are you spend your time here trolling this board?
