Being a fan is fine. When they win, cheer. When they lose, be sad. Winning isn't everything. If winning were that important, it's probably better to go play Madden on rookie, should be able to get the dub every time. Every darft pick would always hit, and you'd get stats for days.

If every fan was like this the owner would never spen money in FA and never resign their good players to big contracts and all the fans would still come to watch us get destroyed because it's not about wins.  It is about winning for most

If owners are spending to satiate fans, they end up where we are. (Guess what Shad's been having to do virtually since he bought the team?)

Most fans are inpatient and irrational. Look at teams that sell well, win or lose. How often do they make rash decisions that set the franchise back a half decade?

I never said it isn't about wins. It's about wins and losses destroying your mental well-being.

Look at my point - how many STH has this team lost over the decade of losing? Did those STH run to midfield and take a dump on the logo to express their discontent? I mean, that would get the point across that they weren't happy, right? Maybe they should have renewed, and just spent all season dressing for circus cosplay to insult the owner. Then he'd know they care about Ws and Ls, right?

Wins absolutely are important to a fanbase. But they shouldn't be the only thing that makes you a fan. If them losing turns you into a worse person, maybe it's time to pursue a different fandom? The way that losses affect some around here absolutely impact the level of regard I have for them. We're adults, we should be better than the kindergarteners on the playground who aren't getting their way. Maybe my expectations are too high, that seems to be a theme around here lately.
