The headline of that picture that I didn't make wasn't the point. 

Double the TDs and Half the Ints with more completions and yards on less attempts was the point. And let's be real, Minshew played on just as bad of an offense.

Gardner Minshew has physical limitations that allow defensive coordinators a fairly easy game plan to stop him.  That's why he's a backup.  Trevor Lawrence does not have those physical limitations.  That's why he has a much higher upside.  

Sure, we could possibly be a mediocre team with Minshew at QB.  But that would be our ceiling.  And if we did reach that point, then we'd all be complaining about Minshew.  

The Jags are trying to take TL, a guy with a lot of physical ability, and develop him into an elite QB.  That's why we have Lawrence and not Minshew.  

I'm not saying TL is elite yet or is necessarily going to be elite.  But he has a chance to be an elite QB and Minshew does not.  

All the above should be really really obvious.
