I'm going to try and stay away from Lawrence discussions because I'd rather not be banned again for speaking my mind. But in all reality NYC I know you are just a fan who wants to believe in the guy and even tho you might not believe me, I do too. But come on man you're grasping at straws to prove it's everyones fault but his. There are other QBs who get less time, who have much worse offensive lines and still play extremely well. Joe Burrow and Herbert being the two best examples. That's not to say the O line dosent need to be fixed, and it's not to say Lawrence can't get better. But that's the NFL, you aren't always going to have a top 5 WR, a top 10 Offensive Line and every other luxury you can have. The truth of the matter is that, yes on average the line lets him down, on average the wrs haven't been stellar, but on the plays where he gets a clean pocket, and has a wide open WR he misses them quite often. And to be succesful in this league you can't fail when you get your oppurtunity, and then turn blame on the loss for the other plays where you didn't get the chance.

I think right now the best we can hope for is that we get some Oline help/WR help (Ridley/Draft picks) and Lawrence takes a step next year with him having a full season and another off-season within the current system to see if he can make the most of it.


The only thing I'd like to see throughout the second half of the season is essentially the same thing I was looking for last year. Improvement in the areas he's struggled with early on. Accuracy/Decision making and maybe a few games where he clutches out a victory at the end.
