At this point in his career Allen was almost exactly the same QB as Lawrence but his team was 6-2.

Okay but my point was that we've seen Allen play MVP level football for the past 2 and a half seasons, Lawrence hasn't done that yet so comparing them in this regard is pointless. Now if Lawrence comes out next year guns blazing and sets the world on fire like Allen did, then that comparision holds weight.

His rookie numbers were 3641 passing yards, 14 total TD and 17 INTs.

Yeah it's big improvement from last year.

I would take that. He desperately needs a true #1

If Calvin Ridley is the same guy from 2020 then we will have a true #1.
