Ahh, sorry for my misunderstanding. Not as familiar as I’d like to be with Cam’s contract. But guessing it would be a ton of dead money if he were released next year. I don’t think Cam is going anywhere. I don’t mind drafting guards high but imo the team just has too many holes to fill for that luxury.

I meant cut him after next year if they wanted.  It would be 5 mil in dead money.  You could put him at G his rookie year and could put him at either tackle spot.  LG is the weakest link on the oline imo and if you can replace the weakest link with a elite player it would be huge for the offense.  If they think he's an greae olinenan and their top player on their board it would hard to pass him up.
