The Allen situation is one of the least of our worries and it's simple. Team friendly deal this off season, or he gets a chance to cash in his own bag on the 5th year option next year. Simple.

There's far bigger issues on Defense than Allen. Which is mainly all the $$ and resources they've already spent on it with little to nothing to show for it. Are the players they signed bad? Is the coaching bad? Is the scheme bad? Maybe a bit of all of that?

Regardless, people are harping on Allen when nobody else around him is doing anything either. There's a lot of other players on this Defense making a whole lot more $$ than Allen($3.6m) is this year.
