There's far bigger issues on Defense than Allen. Which is mainly all the $$ and resources they've already spent on it with little to nothing to show for it. Are the players they signed bad? Is the coaching bad? Is the scheme bad? Maybe a bit of all of that?

Regardless, people are harping on Allen when nobody else around him is doing anything either. There's a lot of other players on this Defense making a whole lot more $$ than Allen($3.6m) is this year.

"Fill the hole for a year" as in get an old vet on a cheap deal to fill the gap rather than giving JA a big contract he don't deserve. Yes he's cheap next year, but another year of no production isn't going to up his trade value.

So you want to trade away a 25 year old and replace him with an old aging vet for 1 year. Yea that sounds like a great idea......

And who the [BLEEP] is talking about giving him a big contract... I clearly said this [BLEEP] is SIMPLE. Offer him a team friendly deal, or let him play out the 5th year option and see if he can cash in his own bag.

But I shouldn't be surprised considering you all but want to get rid of a 23 year old Franchise QB after 25 games.
