Exactly. My concern is that the scheme may be calling for OLB to contain QB to pocket (hence the not shifting outside rush inside) rather than flushing them out and letting QB (especially mobile ones) tear us up scrambling. It puts a lot of pressure on the defensive backfield to maintain coverage and disrupt passes, and we don't have the shutdown corners/safeties to validate that approach.

That's fair. Allen and Walker are suffering from mental constipation I guess. Maybe a bye week will give everybody a much needed break physically and it will allow some introspection and adjustments.

We'll know right away whether or not it helps them. Jackson is the pinnacle of mobile QB's.
