Jenkins can’t cover in man to man, and neither can any of our CBs with the exception of Campbell, even though he’s better in zone.
Jenkins was picked on so much and he kept making the same mistake. Covers the first guy and the crosser ran wide open. Dline isn’t good enough to help the secondary out. No pass rush at all. At this point Caldwell is going to have to manufacture some type of pass rush, maybe from the LB firing with some robber type scheme on the back end. Bottom line is no scheme is going to work without an effective pass rush. Run defense is solid. |
