It's true. I suspect eventually hitting the QB will become illegal and rushers will have to count "one Mississippi, two Mississippi" before pursuing the QB. ;-)

No, it'll just be No Contact rules eventually. QBs are way more defenseless while looking downfield and in the act of throwing than WRs are going over the middle.
