The team will not have much money to sign any high priced free agents, but should be able to get lower priced players late in free agency to add depth to the roster. The draft should enable the Jaguars to add one potentially elite player in round 1. As things stand now, either Jalen Carter or Quinton Johnston are the "no brainer" picks and at least one of these two has about an 80% chance of being on the Board when the Jaguars come to the podium. Either of these two would be great additions and it would be difficult to argue strongly for one over the other. No doubt, this team will have enough needs to take the BAP every time they pick, but the ideal picks based on assumed needs would be:

Rd. 1: Carter or Johnston

Rd. 2: Right Tackle or cornerback

Rd. 3: Again, right tackle or corner

For the remaining picks, the team should try and maximize their extra picks by trading up at least a couple of times and use these picks to add players on both lines. There will still be a couple of needs following the draft which would be expected of a team that has been so bad.

What do you do about the TE situation?

Little hasn't taken enough snaps to make you feel warm and fuzzy about him during a 17 game stretch. That's for sure. He had a chance to outright take Taylor's job back in the summer and he couldn't get it done.

The TE position is my biggest concern going into next year. Would love to see Engram come back but it's anyone's guess there. They're probably going to lose Arnold to someone else. Which is odd because you got him in a trade that involved a former top ten pick last year. 

Fun, fun I guess. Ertz would be my immediate go to if nobody comes back next year. I think you have to get a small school / oversized prospect at some point on day three with all of those fourth and sixth round picks. Again, Zack Kuntz comes to mind right away. Even Mallory out of Miami would be a solid pick-up late. His dad is a current coach with the Broncos. Knows the game well.

Best case scenario for me on the opening night is them drafting Quentin Johnston, trading back up into RD1 to land Michael Mayer out of Notre Dame at TE. I like Kincaid though in RD2 if he's there. Would be a Gesicki/Freiermuth type pick we missed out on over the years.
