In 2020, 9/15 were offense.

It makes zero sense that the first 5 picks were defense?   After QB this year, defense will once again be taken over any other position.  If we want to look at the whole draft, more CBs were taken than any other position, 2nd? LB

Your “it’s go s to show its more important than ever” statement makes no sense.

Defense is important but it’s just not as important as offense these days.

Get an elite offense with numerous speed guys and then have pass rushers and corners. Grabbing 2 linebackers in a draft with 3 of your first 4 picks is bad. The Jags have 1 very good corner (Campbell) and another good corner (Williams). They have good pass rushers potentially in Walker, Allen, and Smoot. What this team doesn’t have (and Ridley is still unknown) are players to stretch the field and win 50/50 balls on the outside.

It’s all a difference in philosophy but I think this team needs juice on offense.
