Defense is important but it’s just not as important as offense these days.

Get an elite offense with numerous speed guys and then have pass rushers and corners. Grabbing 2 linebackers in a draft with 3 of your first 4 picks is bad. The Jags have 1 very good corner (Campbell) and another good corner (Williams). They have good pass rushers potentially in Walker, Allen, and Smoot. Williams has been a disappointment tbh. Have you watched us play this year?  Our WR group is better than our CB and pass rush.  I agree 100% that we need more juice on offense but I dont think we need it more than CB and pass rush.  Ridley is more of a sure think than any rookie regardless.  Ill make a sig bet with you right now that Ridley out performs any rookie WR we draft.  We really could upgrade almost all positions.  QB, RB, LB, and P are the only starting positions I dont think we could upgrade in the upcoming draft.  Trevor is starting to show he is the man we thought he was.  If he continues to improve the rest of the season the best chance we have at success next year is to help this defense.  Bradys early years in NE.  They won with a great defense, ST, and Tom Brady.  I think we need to copy the Pats dynasty where they won 3 in 4 years. They one thing we have that they dont is an elite RB outside of the year they had Dillon.

My man!  Way to go out on a limb there, GnJ.  Unless it's a top 10 WR pick, Zay Jones should outperform any rookie WR draft pick, and even then it's about a 50/50 shot that the rook outperforms Zay.  Ridley really needs to outperform every receiver on the roster for me to feel satisfied at that position.  Or at least put up numbers comparable to Kirk et al.
