I don't see how it was a question. First, we're three and bleeping seven. Go. For. Two. Cripes, the Bolts did the same thing, and they have postseason as a much more realistic expectation. They probably didn't NEED to go for two in their game, but Staley is just as much a number-cruncher as Doug, and risked his rep on the bold move, with equal results.

Second, I don't trust the D to get a stop in OT. Lamar was a one-man army, and probably could have walked down the field to 6 if we don't win the OT toss.

It was a defining moment, but I can't imagine Doug being so conservative that he even considered playing for OT in that situation.
