The only other think i can think of is if he has a personality issue or character issue.  I didn't think so but they said his last game here he slammed his tablet on the sideline, indont think the coaches liked that

...or he's just not as good as some here like to think. Since he's a healthy scratch, one assumes the lingering knee thing while he was here has healed, or NYJ just don't report those things to make him look worse...for the sake of a better late darft pick, of course.

They traded for him because they had a need after their starting RB went down, and apparently, he isn't killing it in NY enough that coaches even feel the need to use use him regardless of next year's draft.

Or they feel is isn't the one player that is make or break the playoffs for them.  If you feel like your team is good enough to make the playoffs the smart thing to do would be doing it and only give up a 6th instead of a 5th and have James healthy for a playoff run when that 5th is out of reach and he will also know the playback better.
