I am not patient with the owner and front office but they are saved by the head coach and growth of the QB. This is a pitiful roster still in a pitiful league. They should be able to turn it around but sadly for the fans it will take more time.

Pederson has proven that.  He's changed this offense.

All we need is a better DC.  That's obvious.

I'm not sure why so many here are so fatalistic about the future.  If you have the right management, you can get the best out of your personnel.  Pederson is getting the best out of our offense, to the point where we are nearly playoff contenders, even with a garbage Defensive Coordinator.

If, come March, Pederson says that we are going with Caldwell as the DC...  Then I'll start to get negative.  But I think Pederson will evaluate the defense and realize that the coaching on that side of the ball has been unacceptable.

So you're saying that guys like Griffin, Jenkins, RoyRob, Williams and the like are just fine, all we need to do is change who's calling the D?

Might be a little of both failures - we've brought in mediocre guys, gotten less than mediocre results.
