Sounds like Tony is completely ignoring that the coach can be at all to blame for any of the defense's shortcomings in his assessment. Option 1 is the players are lazy or dumb, and option 2 is the players are dumb and overwhelmed.

You would think that if the scheme were complex, we'd have started slow, and gradually developed as the light bulbs went off one-by-one across the roster.

I actually listened to Boselli's analysis on their YouTube Channel.  It's almost as if the entire Jacksonville media is willfully trying to ignore the obvious fact that most of us clearly see.

Obviously the players are messing up.  But they look lost out there at crucial times.  Why would a well coached team look lost?  Oh, well, obviously the players are morons or lazy.

Or...  Maybe.  Just maybe... the coaches aren't doing their jobs!!  Naw, it's the players.  Bunch of Idiots.  

But those same players looked like monsters against Colts and the Chargers.   They did their job against the Texans.  They punked the Giants for 3 quarters untill they finally got worned out, but the Offense let them down.  

This team has talent on D.  That's all I'm saying.  For some reason, all of a sudden this Defense looks lost.  Based on early performance and the decline of such, I tend to blame the coaching not the players.

Talent? 

I do think Caldwell is part of the problem but is unsure what his role really is. 

However, I can see that Josh Allen hasn't done much except that one season when Calais and Yannick were there too. There's been three defensive coordinators in his time and only Todd Wash managed to make him produce enough but as mentioned there were two elite players in Jacksonville that season.
