The timeline would likely be the same for Trevor if Doug was here last year. Meaning we'd likely start to really see it 1/2 way through his rookie year, instead of 1/2 way through his 2nd year. He does have better weapons this year though and that helps. You could still see it though last season. It wasn't consistent and the team just wasn't any good, but you could see the flashes and wow plays despite the mess around him.

That Urban Meyer disaster flat out just wasted a year for Trevor. Really the only positive that came from it (besides getting Doug) was we got to see how our 22 year old QB would handle/react if he got thrown into the worst situation a young QB could ever be thrown into and he handled it like an absolute champ.
