Given the huge difference in talent between Seattle and Jacksonville over the past few years, and given there is bound to be a lot of turnover on the Jaguars side due to the lack of talent, why should the Jaguars be penalized in any analysis because Bradley and Caldwell are bringing in Seattle alum?

 

Those players have been more productive than the guys the Jaguars have had here.

 

They know the scheme and Bradley knows them, their work ethic, etc.

 

Are a couple of the guys (Bryant & Clemons) a little older than the ideal free agent age?  Sure.

 

But if they help to implement the system here, and if they improve the performance of the team, and they aren't cost prohibitive, why not?

 

Many similarly situated coaches would do the same thing.
