Baalke Approval Meter

I think Baalke overpaid for a lot of the free agents, but it's understandable to an extent given the dearth of talent on the roster and the abysmal performance. Of course, Baalke deserves a lot of the blame for that anyway.
It will be interesting to see how Baalke manages the cap next year. Shaquille Griffin is certainly gone, but there are some more cuts that will have to be made to get under the cap with room to sign the rookie class and some low-cost free agents., Maybe Roy Robertson Harris and Jamal Agnew? Hard to see them creating enough space to sign Evan Engram, although there are some cuts in 2023 that would free up a lot of room. |
