That isn't true.  They lost their last two games of the year both on the road.  First to the Niners who got really hot down the stretch once they started Jimmy G and no one could stop their offense.  Reeled off 5 or 6 straight wins to end the season.  And then we lost in the season finale to the Titans in a game that didnt mean anything to us as we had already locked up the division.  And the Titans were a playoff team so it's not as though they were bad.  If anything that 2017 team was worse earlier in the year as we started off 3-3 and then finished 7-3.  Only other loss in those last 10 games was at Arizona who finished 8-8 so it's not as though they were a terrible team either.

The Blaine Gabbert led Cardinals. If that team was legit they would have put those teams away. Boots cheeks man. That defense was good but definitely disappeared at times. And the offense was bit good enough to go toe to toe with Trevor and the boys.
Niners weren't a great team. Cards were average at best. You can n argue the semantics if you want but that 17 team wasn't as good as many of us want to remember it. The defense had some Dawgs but they still got beat by quick passing and mobile QBs that could avoid the rush.
